Privacy policy
Private by design,
clear by default.
JoinVia has no account system or JoinVia server. It does not use advertising, analytics or tracking, and it does not sell personal data.
What leaves your iPhone
For reminder lists you enable, the reminder title, due date and time, completion marker and selected Outlook category are sent directly to Microsoft Graph to create or update events in the separate JoinVia calendar.
Microsoft stores those event copies in your Microsoft account until JoinVia or you remove them. JoinVia does not send reminder notes, locations or undated reminders to Microsoft.
What stays on your iPhone
Microsoft access and refresh tokens are stored in Apple’s device-only Keychain. Settings, reminder and event identifiers, and hashed sync fingerprints are stored locally with iOS file protection.
JoinVia does not store readable reminder titles or dates in its mapping file.
Permissions
Reminders: Apple labels the permission as full access because iOS offers no read-only Reminders permission. JoinVia’s code only reads reminders.
Calendars.ReadWrite: Microsoft requires this to create and maintain the separate JoinVia calendar. JoinVia never writes to your default calendar.
MailboxSettings.Read: Used only to read Outlook category names and colours. JoinVia cannot read or send email with this permission.
Your controls
Disconnect Microsoft removes the sign-in token but keeps mappings and Outlook copies for a safe reconnect.
Erase JoinVia Data can keep Outlook copies or remove mapped Outlook events first. Outlook removal requires an internet connection and a connected Microsoft account.
Optional support purchases
Customers can optionally tip the developer through Apple’s In-App Purchase system. Apple processes the payment; JoinVia does not receive or store payment details. Tips do not unlock features.
